By Erica Sollazzo Illustrated by Cindy Chan
Stars spread out across the night sky, Snow falling down from way up high, Shells on the beach, when waves make them glisten, Talking to someone who wants to listen. The applause I get, after a show, An American flag waving to and fro, Making up right after a fight, Reading when there's just enough light. Rainbows that almost go through a cloud, Turning a great song way up loud, Throwing a ball, feeling its seams, Falling asleep to wonderful dreams. Watching the mailman bring me mail, Petting a puppy that's wagging its tail, Seeing the clouds in the blue sky above, I've made up my mind… it's life that I love!
