Do you ever feel like a really good meal
But the cupboard is pretty much bare?
You need to go out to get something to eat
But you really can't figure out where.
Well, come to my restaurant, it's really quite close..
Down the road on the beach by the bay....
I've got special food if you're in the mood
At My Slug, Bug and Varmint Cafe..
We have porcupine stew with the pricklers left in
And a savory brown slug souffle..
Our specials are cool, we have three as a rule

Soup du Jour is our Soup of The Day EVERY day
Our salad was made weeks ago.
Its been aged well in Oak, (its really no joke,)
It tastes good when we wrap it in dough....
We won't serve you burgers, we won't make you fries
Don't ask us for P. B. and J..
We won't even give you a glass of cold milk
But we've got bear grease-gizzard parfait
Our Thursday night specials are really a treat
Some customers drive quite a way
You bring the matches, we have some old rum
You'll get gopher and weasel flambe.
If some of you have a particular thing
that you really must have for today
Just call us ahead,we'll be sure that it's dead
and we'll serve it in our special way.
