Look at these ten fingertips
All red and green and blue.
With just a little soap they say
They'll look as good as new.
But no matter how I scrub them
I cannot get them clean.
My fingers stay so pretty
Rainbow red and blue and green.
I've soaked and soaked for hours;
Perhaps I'll soak until it's June.
Perhaps I will get cleaner
But..
By then my fingers will be prunes!
