This is an elementary school character education program designed to foster ethical, social, and
intellectual development by helping schools to become "caring communities of learners" for all students.
The program has been evaluated rigorously and shows positive effects on students' classroom behavior, conflict resolution skills, democratic
values, and reading comprehension capacities.
